Selwyn Walk is situated on the ground floor of Selwyn House and offers 24 hour nursing care for elderly frail clients, together with conditions such as Diabetes, Parkinson’s, Palliative Care and those with reduced mobility and neurological needs. The nursing team is headed by a Manager supported by our Home Manager and our healthcare support workers.
Each resident is provided with a person centred care plan which is regularly reviewed to ensure we are constantly delivering the appropriate care that meets all the persons changing needs. Care plans are constructed involving the resident and family if possible and it is this involvement that helps us to plan and deliver our high quality service.
Residents may choose to relax in one of the two lounges. They may enjoy meals in the company of others in our dining room or for those who wish to dine alone, in the comfort of their en-suite bedroom. Residents play a huge part in the design of our menus.
We provide a range of activities and encourage family and friends to participate in our many entertainment events.
